Functional Specifications
Initial Documentation and Description of:
Programmatic functions, methods, called programs, variables, naming conventions, menus and the like.
•
Document usually prepared by the Project Manager
•
Includes partially operational components. i.e. an Alpha Version.
•
The necessary additions and changes are made and signed off on.
•
 Finished Document is submitted to the Development Lead.
•
 Dev. Lead creates a tentative timeline based on the Functional Spec.
•
 Dev. Lead creates a man hour estimate based on the Functional Spec.
•
 Project Manager revises the tentative time line and creates an initial budget.
•
 Dev. Lead begins work on the Technical Specifications Document.
