Carlos Camara, 19

Carlos loves soccer. He has been dancing since 1995 in Baha’i Youth Workshop in Venezuela. He is planning to attend college next year in Venezuela, with a major in Computer Engineering. Carlos came to the US in 2001.

Noel Chacha, 19

Noel was a member of the "One World" Bahá’í Youth Workshop in Virginia for six years. He is dedicated to service and promoting unity in diversity. Noel’s interests include sports, music, poetry and spoken word. He plans to attend college and major in journalism.

Angelina Labate, 18

Angelina loves to snowboard, ride motorcycles, dance, and eat pasta. She took a yearlong construction class and built a house. She has some dance training in lyrical, modern, African, ballet, jazz, tap and hip-hop. Angelina plans on attending college in the next few years.

Jamila is dedicated to dancing. Before joining Intersectionz she was a dance choreographer for 6 years. Jamila
enjoys skating, reading, and "kickin’ it."

Naghme is a former member of "More Than Words" Bahá’í Youth Workshop in Germany and also did a previous year of service with Diversity Dance Workshop in 1999-2000. She enjoys photography and looks forward to attending college next year.

Eric Nguyen, 20

Eric loves to dance, draw, and sing. He plans to major in performing arts and eventually become a choreographer.

Danielle Oldziey, 18

Danielle has had extensive training in many forms of ballet, jazz, and modern dance. She spent the last 6 years as the artistic director/choreographer of the Delmarva Baha’i Youth. Danielle loves hiking, meditating, and singing and plans to attend college.

Nasim Simmons, 18

Nasim loves to dance. She plans to do a year of service in another country before going on to study biology in college.

Peter Yavrom, 19

Iranian, English, Scottish, Irish, Dutch, German, French, Finnish, and Welsh
Peter loves rock climbing and rebuilding Volkswagens. He has had four years of acting and theater tech. He plans on attending a community college to major in communications and minor in theater, and would like to join a large theater company and also become a radio announcer.
